Every game,
docked and scored.

PlayDocker reviews the games, reports the news and writes the guides. We break each release down system by system and score it on a transparent 100-point scale — no hype, no favours, no mystery numbers.

Verdant Requiem Review

A vast, unhurried open-world RPG that trusts you to find your own way. The first act asks for patience; everything after it repays that patience with interest.

Little Lantern

A hand-drawn narrative adventure about grief and small kindnesses. Short in length, enormous in feeling, and the indie highlight of the year so far.

Circuit Breakers

A lean, electric action game that remembers combat is a craft. The campaign is short, but every encounter is sharpened to a point.

Foundry Frontier

A factory-building sim with the soul of a great board game. Deep, legible systems and one of the smartest campaigns the genre has produced.

Who we are

A score should show its work.

We started PlayDocker in 2022 because too much games coverage reads like a press release and too many scores arrive with no method behind them. Our team of 9 editors and writers plays every game to completion, docks it against a public rubric, and answers to no publisher. When we hand a game a 92, you can see exactly why — and exactly what separates it from an 88.
